SIMON KIRKE: we a had a great time
SIMON KIRKE: every show was great although london was a bit nereve racking

Lucy-Atlanta-Host: It was amazing how many fans that went to one show decieded to go to one or two more
SIMON KIRKE: well we had to accomodate mick and that meant changing the set around and then there were 150 people on the guest list..that sort of thing
Lucy-Atlanta-Host: You see I told you it was EXTRA sold out !!!!!
SIMON KIRKE: yeah we had 2 super fans following us...Gordon from Glasgow and Greg from Minnesota...
SIMON KIRKE: plus your good self Lucy and Lori amazing
sd: Simon, are there any plans for a new studio album?

DEBANDFRED: Thanks for the great U.Kgigs-we were lucky enough to meet you after the York show.- at the hotel.You were lovely to our kids-thankyou
SIMON KIRKE: yes we are going into the studio next year..we are putting sings together right now

SIMON KIRKE: dunno we havent thought about it!
sd: lol
SIMON KIRKE: totop was a revelation...we have never had a receptipn for Feel Like ever...those kids were fantastic
Lucy-Atlanta-Host: You will see Gordon at the Ohio show - if I can go I will
Lucy-Atlanta-Host: Simon your drumming was the ultimate at TOTP2
SIMON KIRKE: yes that will be a moving experience..its for the port authority
sd: Simon, how do you think this line-up compares to others/
sd: ?
SIMON KIRKE: thank you Lucy...well we were in the middle of the tour and so we were warmed up nicely
SIMON KIRKE: sd...its the best since the original
LAM17: It's very good
DEBANDFRED: Simon,how did Blackpool go?
SIMON KIRKE: Jaz is a terrific bass player and Bucket is...well...he's Bucket!
sd: I could not believe the power of the York gig
SIMON KIRKE: Blackpool was OK cos we met the prime minister but he didnt get up to play
sd: awesome is the only word to describe it

LAM17: and you know what they say about power
SIMON KIRKE: I think he felt with all the Iraq business it would have been inappropriate

SIMON KIRKE: Yes York was special
SIMON KIRKE: yes clinto was there

SIMON KIRKE: we played for all these hoorays...bit like a club gig really

SIMON KIRKE: no they were all a bit pissed actually...a very straight crowd but er---merry shall we say

SIMON KIRKE: yeah I kind of like Blair...he is smart and although there is talk of military action I think it will remain just that
SIMON KIRKE: we did all the songs except the piano numbers..Allright now was the hit of the night

Lucy-Atlanta-Host: Did I read that you did a cd recently with Eric Clapton?
Art: Without sounding too naff, I'm a great fan of your drumming, I'm just starting to learn this year at the ripe old age of 42, hopefully its never too late, any tips??
SIMON KIRKE: anyway listen guys I am being summoned for a family walk on the beach so you will have to excuse me...and I did fill in the blank Lam
